Vintage Black and Brown Straw Raffia Hat, 1960s with Ribbon 。What a glorious tam from the 1960s\': A tam, short for Tam O’ Shanter, is a soft, voluminous round hat, usually with a round seam that joins the flat crown to the sides. Tams often have a band around the bottom that gathers in the voluminous crown and secures the hat to the head of its wearer. This black straw tam is artfully created in the shape of a tam. At one side of the band holding the \"pancake\'\" shape of the hat there is a fabulous group of gold colored feathers held together by a grosgrain bow. This is a showstopper look! Label: MR. JOHN JR.
